Richard (Dick) Celeste was educated at Yale and Oxford.  Celeste has served as Director of the Peace Corps, was elected to two terms as Governor of Ohio, headed a small economic development consultancy until 1997, and was appointed as US Ambassador to India.  In 2002 he become the 12th President of Colorado College, where he served for nine years.   Celeste continues to chair a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards.

Originally an inline skater from North Carolina, Joey Cheek quickly mastered the ice and became a world record-setting speed skater. In 2002, at the Salt Lake City Olympics, Cheek won his first ever international medal, a bronze.  Over the next four years he would go on to win more than 25 World Cup and World Championship medals, including joining Eric Heiden and Dan Jansen as the only US men to become World Sprint Champion.
