Peter Maiurro

Interim Chief Operating Officer
Background

In September of 2016, Peter Maiurro was named Interim Chief Operating Officer by the USOM Board of Directors. Peter is on loan from El Pomar Foundation where he began working in 2003. He participated in El Pomar’s Internship and Fellowship programs and is currently Senior Vice President and the Director of El Pomar’s legacy properties; The Penrose House, The Penrose Heritage Museum, and The Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun. Peter is involved with numerous community organizations such as Discover Goodwill of Southern and Western Colorado and The United States Olympic Endowment. Peter earned a B.A. from Colorado College and Master’s in Public Administration from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
